LES MISÉRABLES:
HIGH SCHOOL EDITION
DO YOU HEAR THE PEOPLE SING?
March 26 – April 4, 2027
Set in 19th-century France, Les Misérables follows Jean Valjean, a former prisoner determined to rebuild his life after 19 years of imprisonment. But as he seeks redemption, he finds himself pursued by Inspector Javert, a man unwilling to believe that anyone can truly change. Against a backdrop of poverty, injustice, and revolution, their paths cross with those of students, workers, and families fighting for a better future.
For more than four decades, Les Misérables has moved audiences around the world with its sweeping score and powerful story of hope, sacrifice, compassion, and the search for justice. Its songs, from the stirring call to collective action in “Do You Hear the People Sing?” to the deeply personal longing expressed in “I Dreamed a Dream,” and "On My Own," have become cultural touchstones that reach far beyond the stage.
